Assuming all you need is some tip work, the recovery should be about a week with a splint to protect the nose. A bulbous tip can be from large cartilages, thick skin or both. Cartilage can be trimmed and grafts of your own cartilage placed to give better definition. Nostril size can be changed by changing the shape, but this can be difficult. If you have thick skin, the swelling will take longer to go away than in a nose with thinner skin.
FAQ » I have a small nose that seems right for my face but the tip is a bit bulbous and my nostrils are a little large. How would this be fixed and what would the recovery be like?
